Mission:

The mission of Newman Campus Ministry is to be a community of college students, faculty members, staff members, and parishioners that live a vital, animated faith in Jesus Christ. This community encourages each member to realize fully his or her God-given talent and to use these gifts in building up the Reign of God.

Development Focus Areas and Key Activities

Leadership:	a. meetings led by the student leadership b. opportunities for seminars in leadership and team- building skills
Spiritual:	a. Relaxed "home masses" during the week b. A retreat each semester c. Guest speakers on topics of interest to the community d. Faith sharing, Scripture study, exploring issues in and questions about Catholicism as the community wants
Social:	a. Fun social events b. Sports activities c. Opportunities for just being together
Ministerial:	a. Cooking for Dismas House b. Raising money for charitable causes c. Christmas gifts for needy families d. Ecumenical opportunities
